John Blacet was an electronic engineer, designer, and all around smart guy who invented and manufactured synth modules and DIY kits for 37 years, specializing in Frac format modules.
In the '70s, Blacet's production was primarily focused on noise makers and DIY kit modules. After a period of developing electronics for other industries, Blacet jumped back into the modular synthesizer game with '90s synth revival. Today, Blacet offers a full line of modules in the Frac format, which are available through synthCube. Blacet's modules jam tons of functionality into a relatively small form factor.
